200 Years of the Star-Spangled Banner

A display of a variety of books (available for borrowing), and a paper show on the history of the American flag and anthem were exhibited at the American Corner to mark 200 years of the Star-Spangled Banner on June 14. As the Fourth of July is traditionally celebrated as America's birthday, 'Flag Birthday' or Flag Day  is observed on June 14.

The thematic and expanding exhibition will be on display until Independence Day featuring the key historical figures, events and documents which laid foundation for a free, democratic government of the United States.
