Croatian Book Month Exhibition: Eye Reading and/or Ear Reading

On the occasion of the 2013 Croatian Book Month, the American Corner organizes a thematic exhibition of printed books and audio books to raise awareness of the importance of listening in learning a foreign language and reading books by eyes in comparison to reading by ears.
Audio books have seen a recent uprising in popularity, especially since MP3 players and even e-readers have become common. The goal of the exhibition is to ask library users how these two forms of books compare against each other and leave their thoughts and experiences at the exhibition stand.

Here are some of the thoughts and comments:

1. With text books everything is left on to imagine - imagination is the key here,  from the places to the characters to their voices, especially their voices.

2. A native speaking audio artist can really help you in learning a new language especially in the pronunciation department.

We invite you to visit the exhibition and leave your comments sharing your thoughts and experiences with other readers.
