Ms. Vesna Markulin–Dye graduated English and Art History at The University of Zagreb, and she has been working as a teacher and a translator.

She lived in London (England) and Toronto (Canada). She moved to Santa Cruz (California) where she lived for fifteen years. Since 1996 her primary residence has been Burlington (Vermont). Ms. Markulin often travels and she stays in Zagreb, her native city. She writes in English.

At this event organized with American Corner Zagreb as part of the series Discover America, the author will talk about her book entitled A Stranger in Never-Never Land: Stories and Poems.
