English-Language Poetry Workshop

During this engaging, hands-on workshop, students will learn about the fundamentals of poetry including the structures and techniques that poets use in their work. For inspiration, students will read famous poems from American poets such as Robert Frost and Maya Angelou. Students will also have the opportunity to write their own poems using the techniques they have learned.

The workshop will be led by Emma Christman, an American Fulbright Scholar in Croatia and an English Teaching Assistant at the University of Zagreb’s Faculty of Teacher Education.
