Native American Heritage Month

Izložba 01.11.2014. - 30.11.2014. American Corner Zagreb
To show the rich traditions and accompishments of tribal nations as presented in traditional stories and images, myths and legends as well as scholarly works on Native American past and present. As 2014 is a significant year for the National Museum of the American Indian, the AC's exhibit Honoring Native Americans: Myths and Realities also featured the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian, Washinton, D.C. celebrating its 10th anniversary.  The numeric code of "25, 20, 15 and 10", which defines the anniversary year, is tied to the year of the founding legislation (1989) and the years when the three major facilities were opened.
